Peter Lee-Wright is a former BBC journalist and documentary film-maker who has worked for
all the terrestrial television channels, directing programmes as diverse as BBC1’s Film programme and comedian biopics in Comic Roots to features on Child Slaves and award-winning Channel 4 documentaries on the Stephen Lawrence case. He produced youth programmes, debates and the long-running BBC-2 access series Open Space while at the BBC, and, as an independent producer, documentaries for Channel 4, drama documentary for BBC2 and feature-length drama for leading British film producer Working Title. Until last year, he was Head of Television at Goldsmiths, University of London, and has lectured internationally on the BBC, journalism and documentary. He is the author of Child Slaves and The Documentary Handbook and co-author of Changing Journalism.
